Beauty or a Beast?

I guess the phrase ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ could have fit this post title as well. I was not ready for babies that weren’t anything but beautiful. I have bred Nigerians since 2013 and every year I have such beautiful kids. I love Oooing and Ahhhing over my kids. With Apple and Blue Jeans’ litter, I did not, I wanted to cry. I really did not think that one instance of inbreeding would result in such drastic results. Under bites, these kids have under bites. I kept telling myself, maybe they were just smooshed up inside mom and needed a few days to unwind a bit. Nope, these under bites are here to stay. I am so upset at myself for allowing this Oops litter, but here I stand with 3 little ones. I don’t really WANT to take their photos or even share their photos, however I will as soon as we have a nice enough day to take photos, in hopes of sharing my mistake so that someone can learn from them. My children still adore them, hold them and cuddle them. They are precious and love being held already.¬†¬†They are beautifully colored and super flashy with funny faces. They have a lot of character to them and I am hoping that I can someone (or 3 someones, since she had triplets) who will love them. Please stay tuned for my comparison photos from Dyna’s kids and Apple’s kids!

Have a Blessed Sunday!
